Brainy Ridge Achieves American Camp Association Accreditation!

We’re excited to share that Brainy Ridge has achieved accreditation through the American Camp Association (ACA)! This voluntary peer review process demonstrates our dedication to meeting the highest standards in safety, programming, and camper care.

ACA accreditation is considered the gold standard in the camp world—and earning it is no small task. This rigorous, voluntary process evaluates camps on more than 200 standards related to safety, health, risk management, staff training, program quality, and overall camper experience.

What ACA Accreditation Means for Our Families

At Brainy Ridge, our mission has always been rooted in safety, excellence, and meaningful experiences for every camper. In 2025, we completed the full ACA accreditation process, which included:

• Submitting comprehensive written documentation of our policies and procedures

• Demonstrating our safety practices during an in-person site visit

• Undergoing a detailed peer review of our camp operations

• Showing consistent alignment with nationally recognized best practices

Receiving the official “Accredited” status affirms the care, professionalism, and intentionality that shape every part of our camp.
